01Where is Finca El Caballo?
At Pago del Lío, on the edge of Chiclana de la Frontera (Cádiz), in the countryside and near the sea: about 13 minutes by car from the centre of Chiclana and about 19 from La Barrosa beach. There is parking for 200 vehicles (TodoBoda).
02How many guests can it hold?
Bodas.net gives up to 250 guests and a minimum of 50 to 100. TodoBoda, in an older listing, said 100 to 320. The finca hosts one event a day.
03How much does a wedding cost?
The finca does not publish rates on a website. TodoBoda gives a menu from €50 per guest, which includes a menu tasting for six, the welcome cocktail, wine and the wedding cake; the open bar is extra. The menu dossier comes with a no-obligation quote.
04How do we book?
According to TodoBoda, a €1,000 deposit secures the date, then 60% is paid in advance and the rest on the Monday after the wedding. They recommend booking at least 10 months ahead.
05Can we bring our own caterer?
No: according to TodoBoda the finca does not allow outside caterers and has its own kitchen, serving traditional Mediterranean cooking. Menus can be modified and there are special menus.
06How late does the party go on?
TodoBoda says the finca has no time limit. Confirm it when you ask for your date.
07Can we hold the ceremony at the finca?
Yes: the finca can organise the civil ceremony (Bodas.net and TodoBoda). If you prefer a church wedding the party can still be here: one Bodas.net couple moved their church date to celebrate at the finca.
08What if it rains?
There is an air-conditioned indoor hall, a covered outdoor area and room to put up a marquee (TodoBoda). We have a plan A, a plan B and, if needed, a plan C.
09Who looks after the organisation?
Couples on Bodas.net name the owner, Antonio, the house’s wedding planner, Anabel, and the DJ the finca offers, Adrián, again and again. Advice and planning (timings, music, surprises and decoration) appears in the Bodas.net listing.
10Is it accessible? Is there accommodation?
TodoBoda lists the premises as suitable for people with disabilities. There is no accommodation at the finca.
11Can we visit before booking?
